In recognition of International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible role that women across the world have played in helping MAMA to empower over 50,000 children in the last ten years.
Any community is enriched when women and girls have equal access to opportunities; when women’s voices are strong; and when gender equality is a feature of the social fabric.
At MAMA, each of our projects are committed to empowering girls to achieve their very best. Our partnership with Malilai provides access to education for girls in Afghanistan; and our projects in Kiribati and Dili provide safety, security and support to women and girls suffering from or at risk of domestic violence.
There is still much to be done. And together, working collaboratively and celebrating diversity, MAMA continues to focus on projects that help women and girls have equal rights and opportunities.
