In June 2011, the CEO of MAMA, Mark Fraser, accompanied by his father John Fraser; and the General Manager of MAMA, Paul Singer, accompanied by his wife MayLin Singer, privately funded their travel to Zambia to attend the official opening of the MAMA Resource Centre at the Sishemo Education Trust.

After the opening of the MAMA Resource Centre in Lusaka, the kids broke into song ‘MAMA is coming – welcome my MAMA’ as we were driving home.
During the visit to Lusaka, the MAMA team took the whole school on an excursion to the Munda Wanga Environmental Park.
